Martin Bell is a full-time, professional character animator who works on a freelance basis in and around Central London. Originally from a small mining village in West Yorkshire in the north of England, now residing in North London. It can be said that he isn't as green 'as 'e is cabbage-lookin'.

Martin has a degree in computer graphics from the University of Teesside and is an alumni of the AnimationMentor.Com programme, and teaches there as part of the Alumni Tutor scheme.

Martin has worked as a professional with such companies as Seed Animation, Drive Productions, Brickyard VFX, Animagine Studios, Kazoo Creative, Moving Image Exchange, Zero VFX, Atticus Finch, Square Zero and XPI Simulation. Click here to download a full Resumé/CV.

He has long-held obsessions with The Beatles, Batman, The Simpsons, bees and dinosaurs; and as well as being an animator he writes in his spare time and has aspirations of being a screenwriter, author, and director. It is these aspirations, and a recent fascination with Victorian gothic horror, that led to the creation of The Visitor, his first short film, which is based on his first graphic novel of the same name.

Martin collects comics, is a fan of ice hockey, professional wrestling and football and one day wishes to live in Boston, Massachusetts. He is also part of Third Light Music, a company which composes and licenses music for commercials, television and film, and for fun he plays bass in London-Irish Celtic folk-punk and [mal]function band, The Lagan.
